We had the first trip of the season last Saturday with a great group of guys. The plan was to catch some sharks so at 8 am we put the lines in. We had 2 blue shark releases and saw several others. The coolest part of the day was seeing the great whites jumping out of the water. We even had one cruise by the boat for some pictures before heading off. We fished the following Monday and took a long trip to the gulf stream. We started the day off with two nice dolphin and finished of with a nice 42″ bluefin tuna. Had other bites just couldn’t come tight. Fished again May 3 and released 6 more blue sharks. The makos are coming soon and the bluefin are starting to show so book your trip now! 443-309-4771

Louisiana turned out to be really productive on the days that the weather cooperated. We fished thursday and caught our limit of Aj’s on top water plugs and jigs. We then a mixture of yellowfin and blackfin feeding on the surface. We hooked a handfull on poppers diamond jigs. Saturday morning at 1am we left for the long trip. At 4:00am we were catching the tuna as fast as you could get a jig in the water. The bite lasted about 45 min and we started trolling at day break. We caught some more tuna, barracuda, sharks and amberjack on jigs and poppers later in the day. We fished some more that night and had tuna busting everywhere. We put some more in the box and headed home. Tried to get out some more this week but just didn’t get the weather we had wanted. We will be in Hatteras, NC this weekend so call for open spots. 443-309-4771

Wahoo

Our Crew went offshore last friday in search of wahoo and we found them. Left the dock at 5am and by 1Pm we had our 5 man limit. Wahoos have been biting good this year so far. We have killed 34 in five trips. The same group was on the boat saturday in search of some blackfin tuna. The fish were slamming the jigs in about 200 feet of water. Afterwards we went inshore and caught some vermillion snappers for dinner. We will be in Grand Isle, Louisiana on March 1st for a few weeks so if you want to catch some wahoo and tuna, give us a call for openings. 443-309-4771

Went out to some humps off Islamorada the 14th of January and found the blackfin. Our group caught 44 Blackfin Tuna in about 3 hours. Came back in and found the snappers, groupers and mackerels biting away. The groupers seem to know the season is closed as they are on fire right now. The fish are here!
