Always Late Update

Grand Isle, LA Fishing Report with Always Late
Fishing has continued to be exciting as April Approaches. This will be our last week in Louisiana for the year. Red snapper season opens up this weekend so everyone is excited to go out and catch a few of those. Also, there have been some big yellowfin tuna caught this week along with amberjacks, groupers and wahoo. The inshore fishing has been great as well. We took a short two hour trip out to the inshore rigs off the beaches and caught about 20 sheepshead. THis is the last week in Louisiana, then we will be headed to North Carolina in two weeks to catch some bluefin, yellowfin, wahoo, dolphin and more. Louisiana March Fishing Report
Well the 1st 2 weeks of March provided us with some great fishing days. Between 4 trips we have caught several nice yellowfin, over 120 blackfin tuna, a dozen or so amberjack, snappers, groupers, sharks and more. We caught most fish on the jig/popper as well as live mullets. There are a ton of fish around right now and when weather permits we will be out. Louisiana Oil Rig Fishing 2013
We will be in louisiana setting up tomorrow afternoon, gearing up to head offshore. We have March 12th through the 26h open as of right now. Islamorada Fishing
Well, fishing has been pretty great when we were able to get out. There has been some great bites on the patches as well as the reef for snappers and mackerels this past week. There have also been quite a few sailfish being caught too. As for offshore there have been plenty of blacken tuna along with a few dolphin when you can find the weed lines. If you are looking to get in on the waho bite, there has been quite a few around. We still have dates open in february. Overnight Success on The Always Late
Seas laid down last friday and saturday, allowing the Always Late to head out on an overnighter. At about 9:30 we came tight on a nice swordfish. Twenty minutes later we put him in the box!
The next morning we started off trolling the weed lines in search of some wahoo. We had some great bites, and ended up killing two wahoo. At about 12:30 we hooked into a 70lb yellowfin and put him in the boat. We finished the day off with a white marlin release! Fishing is great right now. White marlin bite is on!
Well the white marlin bite has been on fire the past few week. We have had some pretty good days catching up to 9 one day. while seeing many more. There have also been some blue marlin seen, as we broke one off last week on a tld 30. The dolphin have also been showing up in numbers, with one charter catching 23 and another catching over 20 again. Red Hot Tuna Bite!
Yellowfin tuna fishing is red hot right now. We had 15 tuna in the boat by 8:30 this morning and then caught and released some more on the troll.
